Night time photography - Night time photography without flash is now possible with many modern cameras, but the long exposure time required means that it is advisable to use a fast film (ISO400-1600). Use a tripod to avoid camera shake. Cityscapes, which may be dismal and uninteresting during the day, can make excellent subjects for night photography, transformed by illuminated street lamps, vehicle lights, windows, and shop signs.
