Walking Onion 2 - Now this is the size of the onion I took from my friends garden. It was only 1 year ago that I planted the walking onion in her garden and the size was like that of the first walking onion, the size of a large green onion. They spread by flowering, (You can see not just the tip had flowers, but also in the middle too,) and then it tips over into the dirt and the flower turns to seed, producing more onions. I can't believe the size of this, You can see the bulb of this one is bigger than the bulbs of the other 2 put together. And that it flowered not just at the tip, but also in the middle. It is also folded in half so that I could get the whole plant in.
