Umbrella Cockatoo - The Umbrella (White) Cockatoo is a medium-sized parrot endemic to the Islands of Indonesia. At first site it appears to be a white bird with brown or black eyes and a dark grey beak. If it is surprised it extends a large striking crest, which is semicircular in shape (similar to an umbrella, hence the name). The underside of the wings and tail have pale yellow or lemon colour, which flash when they fly. The Umbrella Cockatoo can live for up to 80 years (or more) and weighs from 400 to 800 grams.
