Heroes 5 - Sylvan Creatures: Sylver Unicorn - Powerful allies of the Elves, the Silver Unicorns appear from the heart of the woods to drive away any invaders. Their silvery aura protect friendly troops from enemy magic and their gleaming horns can emit bright flashes of light that can temporarily blind the enemy. Aside from the Blind specialty, which can be a timely ability, the Silver Unicorn is a predominantly toughening upgrade - increasing only attack, defense, and Hit Points. This simply strengthens Sylvan's tank unit, making it more durable in long combats, which, in turn, buys the ranged attackers more time. Both the Unicorn and Silver Unicorns 'Aura of Magic Resistance' specialty is difficult to make use of due to their tendency to attack. The Silver Unicorn is a value-for-gold upgrade - one well worth making.
