Newlyweds! - Here's a picture of my folks, Ray & Ainsley (nee:Jobe) Phillips taken early in their marriage, which took place on February 8, 1947. Don't they make a precious couple!?! When I was a kid (preschool age), I thought they were movie stars because they looked like those beautiful people on the screen. Yes, I knew that they both worked at Delco-Remy (a division of GM), but I thought that they also went to Hollywood (which I thought, at the time was in Indianapolis, since our TV stations came from there) and made movies. My dad worked with a lady named Marilyn Scott, and he would talk about Marilyn at different times, and I thought that he was talking about Marilyn Monroe.
