This picture was taken on the beach at Tybee Island in Georgia. I like this beach because it has more of a natural feeling to it than other beaches.
You can't park your car on the beach. Parking is on the street and you have to pay for it. I don't mind the cost because cars on the beach are ugly.
You have a bit of a hike crossing over the boardwalk to find the beach. The beach itself is lower than the landscape surrounding it. Rather than looking at beach houses, condos and hotels, this beach has some scrubby beachy reeds.
The sand feels a bit like dirt though. I prefer a nice white sifted sand. I spent a few hours here with my friend while the sun chased in and out of the clouds. | |
