Mountains to the sea covers all of these remarkable features of the West Coast, as well as its more remote, but equally breathtaking, landscapes. Five of New Zealand's national parks, all the Westland/Tai Poutini and Paparoa, and parts of Kanurangi, Mount Aspiring and Fiordland , and 'pancake rocks at Punakaiki - fall within the boundary of the West Coast, and the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers in South Westland.
