An Australian Echidna - This little guy was trying to cross the road at dusk when we came flying along in our car. We were going to try and help him but he rolled into a ball. He is wounded already and rather than continue across the road, he eventually returned to his starting point - we watched him from a safe distance. I mentioned his wife would be anxious because he was getting home so late.
