Kheta stitches from Bihar - It is tussar silk stol on which kheta embroadiary is done with silk thread.It is made by the rural Shershahwadi women of Kishanganj district of Bihar.They usually do it for their personal use using old clothes for new born babies or a rug to be used in winter.An NGO in Bihar Azad India Foundation seeing the potential of the work is trying to promote this type of embroadiary so that these rural women could earn something.
