Goose - My daughter and I constantly feed most of the ducks who roam around the Equine Country lake, where she works. The goose on this picture captured my attention due to his intelligence. This gorgeous animal actually recognizes my vehicle. He runs towards it whenever he sees me drive into the road that leads to the ranch. I became quite close to 'goose' just a few days after his life long partner was killed by stray dogs. I visited him quite often and fed him as much as I could. I felt horrible; anyone could clearly see how depressed this little animal was over the loss of his mate.
