This is NOT what atheism is about. Atheism is not a belief in anything. Atheism is the LACK of a belief in a God. This image is quite misleading in that it generalises that ALL atheists believe in the same thing. That makes it the same as a religion, when infact, atheism is not a religion at all, but the lack of one.
Atheists can believe in different theories about how the universe came about. Some believe in evolution (self-replicating bits), others can believe in other theories. Some believe that the universe was created out of nothing (the big-bang), others believe in other things. Don't try to "fix" atheism as a set belief in something.
Atheism, at its core - and as defined by the dictionary - is
1. the doctrine or belief that there is no God.
2. disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or beings.
It does not mean anything else. It does not mean that we think nothing has happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason. Nor is it the belief that self-replicating bits turned themselves into dinosaurs. Don't be so ridiculously ignorant. lol
