The OrangUtan - Orangutans are a species under continual threat of extinction in the wild due to habitat loss as forests of Borneo and Sumatra are being converted for human use. The mission of the Orangutan Foundation International (orangutan.org)is to support the conservation and understanding of the orangutan and its rain forest habitat while caring for ex-captive individuals as they make their way back to the forest.
