Hand painted by my friend, Mary, on silk on a fold - Bought this old silk screen folding hanging thing at an auction. It had a horrible design painted on the silk, but the silk brocade surrounding the frame is in perfect shape. Asked my very talented friend, Mary, who will showcase her artwork in my online gallery, Purple Haze Creations, as soon as it is up and running, if she would paint me a peacock on it. To my blissful surprise, she gives me two of them, in all of their majestic beauty. This painting is huge and covers the entire wall above my 'Peacock' couch. Can you say, 'She's a little obsessive compulsive?' Yes, I am, and I love it.
