Smokeybear - My 8 Year old male cat got infested with a mite called Waling Dandruff that made him very ill and he lost 11 Lbs. After treatment of dipping to kill these microscopic little nasties the vet suggested that it would be in his best interest to shave him to prevent any mites making it through treatment. Here he is in all his glory with me and as you can see he is not happy at all but boy is he ever soft. He is like petting velvet.
