A little humming bird - Our next door neighbor hit this humming bird with an orange from about ten meters away. My husband picked it up and held it until it recuperated (sp?). As tragic as it sounds, it gave way for a wonderful experience. To hold such an amazing creature is a rare thing. Afterward we discovered that he had a nest in one of our pine trees, we also got to see the female pretty often, and later came the baby. Once in a while, while watering they come and take a quick shower from the hose. :) They shake it off, and on their way they go. So many things to experience in life. I wouldn't trade this one.
