Sand sculpture of Christ on the cross and Mary - This was taken on Guardamar beach, Costa Blanca, Spain, during Easter Week (Semana Santa). The guys who do these work really hard to keep them in shape, spraying with water. Of course, the Mediterranean only rises and falls about 18' to 2', so the sculptures never get washed away. Nobody seems to vandalise them, either. I was humbled by this.
