r.e.m. - This is R.E.M. at a period in their career when they were very creative and made me become interested in their music. The 80s and the middle part of the 90s were the best for them far as I'm concerned. The music was more enjoyable then and very infectious. I think when Bill Berry left the group they became less interesting to me and lost some of their power as a band.
