beach side at samal island, philippines - a very nice place to move away from the noise and pollution of the city. just two hours away from my home. but you have to trek for 30 minutes passing around 300 steps manmade stairs. its not totally developed yet .. no electricity .. hence a wonderful place to make a bonfire and sleep on a makeshift tent on the sand. this is where i encountered dolphins one time with the residents, that were washed ashore and needed to be helped back to sea.
