Shugo Chara, or My Guardian Characters in English, is an anime based on the shoujo manga with the same name. The main character is Amu Hinamori, a girl who appears "cool and spicy" outside but she is really a very introverted girl. She wishes to have the courage to become her would-be self, or her true self, and three Guardian Characters are born out of her wishes. She soon discovers that all kids have a heart egg inside them, and the eggs contain their dreams and would-be-selves. | |
