Anguis fragilis - Slow-worm - This creature is very common across Europe, it is not poisonous and completely harmless. I enjoyed its company an early morning after spotting it in a shadowy spot in the center of a track. It was generous enough to let me take many pictures before it disappeared into the grass. To be honest, it was rather chilly at that point, so it couldn't move away faster even if it wanted to. I didn't want to bother it anymore after then, and left it alone.
