Star apple - The caimito or star apple is a native fruit to Central America and the West Indies and can be found also in South East Asia and other tropical countries. It is a delicious and sweet fruit. It is best served when chilled. As fruit dessert, it is so delicious mixed with evaporate milk, sugar and ice or used in halo-halo, a Filipino dessert.
