disability is never a hindrance to live normally.. - im a single mom to a 6 years old daughter named eljah..me and my ex-husband got seperated last feb2007, without me even knowing it..we never really had a closure because he just called it quits that quickly by telling it to my parents..that time i was still confined in the hospital because i had a motorcycle accident.. that accident totally changed my whole life because it causes my spinal cord to breakdown into smaller pieces (L1-L2 portion)and right now half of my body is already paralized..at first it was really hard for me to move on because our break up really hurts me so much..he left me just when i needed him most..he even returned my daughter together w/all of our things to my parents, but inspite of it all,i still tried to live normally and remain strong for my baby..even with a half body paralized,i still manage to work at a call center..i want to prove to everyone around me that disability was never a hindrance at all.. right now, me and my daughter were living together with my supportive parents..the only thing i know about my ex right now is he is happy living with his new gf with a baby..he is not giving any support, not even a single penny, and he doesnt really care at all with our daughter..but that's fine coz i can make it on my own!! i just wanna share a little part of my not-so-good story of my life and i hope somehow you've learned from it..and to those person with disabilities reading it,dont be afraid to mingle and do what other normal people can do..dont treat disability as a hindrance to live normally and happy.. best of luck guys!!
