Ariel - Ariel is my other cat :) I bought her in 2004 with my Christmas money from my local animal shelter. She had been found on the streets on Hallowe'en by an elderly couple, who ultimately decided that they couldn't keep her. It was love at first sight. She couldn't stop cooing (very loudly I might add) and rubbing up against the bars of the cage, purring like crazy. There were younger, less sick kittens, but she made her case pretty well. She was extremely thin, and very sick. She spent weeks sneezing blood and suffering from diarrhea. The medicine regime was fairly aggressive, but I got her through it, and she slowly gained some weight. I wouldn't trade her for the world :)
