Friendship Pass - It's Friendship Pass in China.Located in the south west of Pingxiang,Guangxi,China,it's an important road to Vietnam.There are nine famous pases in China,and Friendship Pass is among them.The three Chinese characters on the archway was written by Chenyi,one of the ten marshals in China. Friendship Pass has another name,which is Zhennan Pass in history.In August,1884,the French invaders invaded Vietnam,which was a threat to China.The then government had to declare war to France.At first ,the French invaders took possession of the pass,and then Feng Zicai led the Chinese people fought against the invaders.At last ,they made a victory.On December 1,1907,Dr Sun Yat-sen led an uprising against the Qing dynasty here,but unfortunately,it failed.On december 20,1939,the Japanese invaders invaded China,occupying the pass,and they burned building.On August 15,1945,the Chinese people drove the Japanese out of the country. Tyhe pass building is a three-storey tower.On the first floor there are many pictures about the victory about Feng Zicai and his people and the uprising led by Dr Sun Yat-sen. The second floor is an meeting room for important leaders of China and Vietnam.In the 1950s-60s,Premier Zhou Enlai met Hu Zhiming ,the Vietnam chairman.Information about the nine famous passes in China is on show on the third floor.The nine famous passes in China is Shanhai Pass,Juyong Pass ,Niangzi Pass,Zijing Pass,Pingxing Pass ,Jiayu Pass Yanmen Pass ,Wusheng Pass ,Friendship Pass
