White and fuzzy - nature being eccentric - I'm not sure what these are called but I do knwo that if the wind blows each of thes white things comes off. It can be quite painful if they end up in your eyes! Beautiful though. A practical plant- Cape Town is very windy and the wind helps these curious plants spread their seeds.
