rebound - A rebound, in sports, refers to the ball (or other object of play) becoming freely available after a failed attempt to put it into the goal. In basketball specifically, rebound is also used as the term describing the act of successfully gaining possession of the basketball in such a scenario. it cud also be applicable in relationships
