Corfe Castle, Dorset - Besieged by Oliver Cromwell, this ruined castle still attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world. Personally I wouldn't go near it as it seems totally unsafe to me. Anyway, I'd rather see it rebuilt to how it was. The local countryside is typical of why travellers the world over agree that England is stunningly beautiful.
