Captain Kidd - This is a sprite edit I did of Captain Kidd from the video game series World Heroes. I attempted to create him in the style of Capcom vs. SNK, but failed. This character was based off of William 'Captain' Kidd. William Kidd is often remembered in infamy as a cruel, bloody pirate. Indeed, he, along with his crew, have been accused of every crime in pirate history by popular tradition. He achieved perhaps more fame in song, story, and legend than any other pirate to sail the seven seas. However, historical record calls this characterization into question, as there is evidence that Kidd acted only as a privateer.
