Labrador Retriever - Cara is a chocolate brown labrador which we bought for our black Lab, Spawn. Spawn was diagnosed with early stages of heartworm eight months ago and we thought it would be good for him to have a companion during the illness. Now, Spawn is still as healthy as a pup and we never did saw any symptoms of the illness at all. It's either the vet was wrong or Cara's presence was therapeutic for him.
