It's a Porwest thing. Don't ask me why. Perhaps I suffer an endless curiosity. Or maybe I am just perpetually bored. But I dig and scrape the bottom around here often.
Do you ever do that?
What I mean is, go back. Sometimes go...

I stayed in bed until six. I looked out my front window when I got up.
Something, or someone, has messed with my plants. I have what was called a corn pot. It is yellow enamelware and...

Each time I look at my backyard anymore, I see all the holes that my dog has dug. If I didn't know any better, you would think he was trying to dig a hole to China, as people say.
I don't know why she started digging like that, I...

I know I shouldn't apologise for LIVING in REAL time not being on MyLot 24/7, but I have missed you all and the last few days I have flopped to bed from sheer exhaustion.
Yes - I have been in the trenches!
My hands are bruised...

1901 – Spoiler alerts
It is a thrill to turn the page of any short story anthology and find the next tale is by Jack London. This one doesn’t disappoint either.
It tells of a lone and aging gold prospector, seeking his fortune...

I remember last summer, when one of our dogs at the backyard, an “ aspin “ or asong Pinoy or a local dog , keeps digging the same ground, everyday.
My mother-in-law would cover them when she sweeps the backyard , since...

We were at Lowe's a year ago getting supplies for the tomato beds and I thought, why not buy this nice cheap hand trowel, rather a small shovel best for boy scout camping.
I also bought the 4 finger claw thingy which has a handle...

Last Thursday a friend of mine from church was lamenting the fact that her yard was full of worms, also known as night crawlers. She said she cannot go out in her yard at night because of them.
Her husband does not want to kill...

They don't seem happy unless they are digging a hole somewhere and get the chance to set up traffic lights along with lots of brightly coloured plastic. Not the busiest of roads, this local one, but with airport buses and more...

I think they are cute for the most part but here they can also be a nuisance when they dig up the plants I have in my flower pots. Such as the seedlings that grow slower than the other plants, they have dug up three of them at...

I had previously posted* that I've been digging around the (non-existent) foundation of my house and finding interesting things. One such thing was a spine... I thought maybe from a chicken. Well, today I found a skull, and unless...
