One of my favorite things about doing digital art, is that there is a way that you can turn pictures into paintings...by using digital paints.
It is very similar to painting with oils, or watercolors...the only difference is that...

I just finished making this piece.
I made it with Corel Paintshop Pro x4, like many of my previous ones.
I don't really know much to say about it, I'd rather just leave it here for you all to enjoy without you having to read a...

This is about as original as it comes. You will not find another piece of artwork like this anywhere.
I have played around with this for hours. I am keeping this for now, because I am somewhat pleased with it. Still can't get...

Okay... I get that there are different tastes when it comes to the artworld. Not every type of art will suit everyone.
However... I was referred by a friend that I have made on FAA to this website site where I could sell my...

When my son 1st saw this design, he immediately said "Oh, that's a cat"?
It wasn't intended to be a cat, but that was his interpretation, so that inspired this post. I would love to know if you all interpret it as he did, or see...

I call this piece of abstract that I created Mysterious Door. Someone recently left me a comment that said: "Stunning Image."
Nevertheless... It made me feel good that she liked it.

I knew I had artistic abilities in me. However, due to the fact that my dad was considered "the artist" of the family...I just never pursued it.
I wrote, and enjoyed doing it...and still do. I write for a few contests every now...

I was playing around w/Corel earlier, and came up w/this design.
I shared it on an art site but thought my Mylot friends might find it interesting.
I look forward to knowing what you all think.
More to come in the near future.

Mostly because of the weather today, I didn't do a whole lot.
A lot of the day I worked on the little pieces of "art" I like to make called Artist Trading Cards.
The ones pictured are nearly done -- some of them are of an...

This is my last picture after I added color. All my work is done in markers. I love to create art like this all the time. I never know what I am going to create or how it will turn out. I kind of just let y hands lead me.

Well, I'm trying this again. I posted before but it didn't show up.
This is one of my works before I colored it. I was not able to find a way to post before and after on the same post so the picture colored will be on my next...

With adult coloring books becoming such a huge trend these days, I feel like I missed out on something I could have started myself when I was teenager. I will be 52 next month, but when I was in my early teens, I use to create...

One day while I was at starbucks sipping on a green tea and listening to youtube videos on my headphones, I started to just scribble meaningless lines and shapes onto a napkin. The weird thing is that I didn't intend to purposely...

I enjoy creating abstract art with different colors and styles. Do others like this type of art? I like creating this art digitally on programs such as paint. Do others like using paint? Art can bring people together and make...

I took the photo during the Kannawidan Festival of our province Ilocos Sur. I did not get the name of the painter and not even know the title of the artwork. But the painting is kind of mystery. Though the girl is smiling but the...
