The nurse practitioner was named Sunshine. For real. She was very nice. I was...

A tale of two VA systems.
I read @TheSojourner ‘s discussion about how the VA will not mail her medications to her anymore. They’ve only been doing it for 11 years, and now they decide they’re going to stop....

Originally Bob thought he would transfer to a nursing home/rehab October 29.
Saturday when I was there we were told he would likely be moved today instead.

He got himself up, and dressed and sat in a chair...

While at the Bob Dole VA I accomplished something Bob says he has not been able to accomplish. I got people to talk to me.
In their defense, Bob was likely sleeping, or having a hard time understanding them without his hearing...

Not me, but my husband Bob.
He has covid, again, and we did not suspect that. Probably C Diff again, maybe sepsis in his blood again.
He is showing indicators in his lab work of heart failure and kidney failure. The thing is,...

The cooler weather makes me...

I took hubby for a procedure yesterday. He left without a catheter. He could urinate on his own when he left.
He also took one strong antibiotic pill--standard practices. It made him sick at his stomach.
Ever since his treatment...
