I am going to be in and out of the house today. If you need me, just holler.
There is so much yard stuff to do. I may also start a fire in the fire cage/fire pit, whatever you call it. I think we are no longer under a burn...

Tomorrow I will be working the same hours.
Today wasn't bad, it's just that I wasn't talked to a whole lot like I was yesterday at the other school, and nobody really told me what was what. Where to go, what the kids were...

Bob is likely at a neighbor's asking a car question or two. Last I knew he was checking to see why the hood keeps popping up on my van all on its own. It does not turn loose and fly up, just pops and is ready to open. I do not...

Because Bob was taking a short nap, I hung out inside. When I did finally go outside it is really too hot to work for long.
I moved some stuff down to the shed, I watered everything and did some repotting.
I also startled a...

It is very unusual for a landscaper who were working in a home in Staunton Virginia last Tuesday when they found a cannonball that appeared to be from the Civil War era that was uncovered.
Jasin Singh who is a real estate agent...

I am sure many of us have heard of the movie about snakes getting onboard an airplane.
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) spokesperson Sherri Ly admits that how a snake managed to get aboard a Blue Line Train...

Woke up to cool temperatures earlier. But now the sun is out and we will get into the high 60's F later.
Took my phone with me around the yard just now. Snapped a ton of photos. Many birds have their nests built and you can see...

Was out in the yard yesterday and earlier this morning. I see the Lilacs are trying to bloom very soon. They usually bloom in early to mid April. Not much longer now. I was afraid the weather had gotten the best of them. But looks...

Made this collage from the daffodils in my backyard. They always bloom in February, no matter the weather. We have a few more weeks before spring arrives. But these blooms don't seem to care what day it is. They are in full bloom...

Snapped a quick photo of the sunset from my deck. All clouds now. Funny thing is the big green inflatable ornament. See it in the photo?
This decoration has blown around in many yards in my neighborhood for about a week now. The...

Another rain shower over night. This is always good for the garden.
These pink Azaleas started blooming today. I have been watching the buds and knew it was almost time.
The azalea is a must have plant in this area. I see many...

Each year I enjoy seeing the flowers bloom in my yard and garden. Still waiting on many to bloom. A little late this year due to the cooler weather.
These tiny blue wildflowers are all over my yard. They are so small I had to use...

So far we have about 2.5 inches of now again. A few flakes still falling.
No plans to go out, except to build a small snowman later.
It was so pretty to see the snow on the ground early this morning.
Coffee was enjoyed...

I posted a few days ago (link below) about the seed pods on my Magnolia tree in the yard.
I was asked by @RebeccasFarm to share the entire tree. So here it is. About 25 - 30 feet tall I would say.
The saucer sized white blooms...

Yesterday a neighbor brought a guy to haul away some bags. This was on short notice. And he gave me a price of 250.00 to do some yard work also. He hauled some but not all and I gave him 80. Today he says I owe 20.00 and since...

Have talked about these crepe myrtles in my yard before. This is one of three planted in the yard two years ago. The blooms are so pretty with the deep crimson color.
Glad to see all three are growing and are up to about seven...

The sun shone bright today. Very hot. A good day for yardwork.
Few minutes into the chore, it rained. Sigh!
I had to get a quick shower to avoid the flu. Contracted a dry cough and I wouldn't want the condition to worsen.
Had...
