My Mom buys nuts and puts them out for the birds and squirrels. She also puts out bread and biscuits. The squirrels love licking butter off the bread. And they love shortbread biscuits.
We put out nuts and bread and biscuits. We...

We have a few bags of local walnuts, and I just thought I would have a little healthy snack to keep me going.
Sadly this was not to be, I seem to have destroyed the nut crackers.
I don’t know what I do wrong. My partner has been...

In the book I'm reading, someone was murdered in the last six chapters or so (though of course they're saying it was suicide). When the detective (or, as they call him, being it's Victorian era England: "Private agent of...

There are five nuts that are the most nutritious. Here they are:

Today I had poha with onions and nuts. It is cooked in a way that the onions whether fried or unfried adds taste. The nuts or badam are fried. There can be coriander leaves and kari leaves added to them. The food tastes lovely. In...

I try really hard not to snack. Lately I've been snacking on cheese balls (they are like Cheetos). I finally got rid of the candy that I like. I'm a sucker for jelly beans, spice drops and spearmint leaves. I used to down a...

My mother worked at a bakery until years past my high school graduation. She would regularly bring home tasty treats. Often these would be what didn’t sell, but were still fresh having been made that day. Other times, she’d buy...

Eating is very enjoyable, well we all love eating but it also depends on what we are eating.
Well, when I was young around ten years, we were being advised on how to eat the peanut nuts.
I never knew the truth, or it was...

Does every household have a ‘random nuts and bolts tub’, or is that just me?
I don’t know how it started, but this collection of odd nuts and bolts, screws and nails has been gradually growing over the years. Maybe there are just...

We visited two wineries yesterday and on the way home, we called into Mondo Nougat, a nougat and nut factory. I’m not a fan of nougat or of nuts. I like cashews and pistachios but the ‘bits’ seem to catch in my throat. However, I...

Yesterday's long walk must have powered me up for today, because I felt little or no discomfort walking home.
Now that I've sat down, though, I definitely feel wiped.
Today was nuts at work today. The twins wouldn't do...
