Book or the movie?

This is one of the times I think the movie is better than the book. I thought the book moved a bit too slow for me, not that the book wasnt good or anything, its a great book.

Channel 4 are showing them both tommorow night - should I stay up and watch either or both of them? This'ld be my first time for both of them - would they be ruined by the adverts (especially A Clockwork Orange)?
