As the baby boomers age themselves, they find their own parents aging and becoming somewhat of a burden upon their own children. Personally I could never think of my parents as a burden, but many use that term.

My mother suffered a brain injury 2 years ago. She was in a nursing home that could care for her, but she was very depressed there. She had psychotic episodes and it was a bad situation. I struggled with the decision to care...
