I like lemon fizzy pop from Aldi. It is cheap but so refreshing ….
Anyway we usually go every two weeks and I stock up. It really is the only thing I drink and I have it at home and at Moms.
I have been drinking more since having...

We spent the afternoon running errands. My husband ran his main one first and got the part he needed for the tractor. He had hooked the Flail Mower up and cut part of the yard, parked the tractor to come outside the next day to...

Since it is do windy outside today, we are fixing to head out to McComb and run some errands.
First I have to stop in town at the Co-op and get a sack of layer pellets for the chickens. We will be coming home from errands the...

Did you know that Five Below changed many of its store's formats to Five Beyond? Well, they did, and I did not know this until we happened to need to stop at our local one for something my wife needed for her cell...

Saw a post on Facebook. Someone bought three cans of sliced potatoes at Aldi. They opened one can to find corn. Opened the second to find corn. Third one had corn as well. Probably the whole batch was like that. Could there have...

Went to WinnDixie today as I know they have the Electric Carts. When I rode into the store...OMG...NOTHING in the produce or Beer/Wine section. Hardly anything on any of the aisles. Then it hit me. Their last day of being...

It was my medication review day today. My Mum decided she was coming with me. We set of at 11:50am. My review was at 12:40pm, so we thought that would give us plenty of time to get there. But my Mum walks so slow, even with her...

Don't get me wrong. I do like Aldi. They have fairly good prices on the items I choose to buy there. But slowly, they are losing my business as their once rapid checkout process is becoming a very quick thing of the...

Sometimes I can be a bit, well...cantankerous might be a good word for it. Now, I know what you are going to say. "Porwest? Cantankerous? He's the nicest guy in all of myLot."
Ahem.
Anyway, one of our errand stops today was at...

Dagnabbit and confound it, I lost a quarter today at Aldi. Now normally I am an anal-retentive jerk. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. How much so I will leave up to your interpretation, of course.
If you happen to...

I finally trekked my butt over to the Aldi store and I would say my impression was meh. Some prices are better. Some are not. Granted, that's pretty much anywhere you go. But it was not better enough overall for most items I would...

It has been quite a while since I have been to an Aldi store. They raised their prices a while back and Ruler became the cheaper alternative. But I am kind of feeling a bit antsy actually and need to get out of the house for a...

At Aldi's (grocery store), you need a quarter to "rent" a shopping cart, in which you will get back once the shopping cart is returned.
I didn't have a cart, but I was almost finished being rung up for my few items.
This...

I will grant you that it is from Aldi. Their L'oven Fresh brand bread. And normally when it comes to most things at Aldi, I have no issue with the quality or price of their products. It is part of the reason I enjoy shopping at...

Yesterday my husband and I went to the dentist. The clinic is next door to an Aldi store so we went in to see what they had in their centre aisles. Vince’s brother has picked up some good tools there before today but they rarely...

Saw this post on my newsfeed with a picture of the price label on a shelf at Aldi.
It said:
Aldi finds Limited Time, Premium Buys
Easy Home
Toilet Seat
with Soft Cheese
$14.99 each
The picture was mostly of the label...

Normally when I get Dakota's Pride baked beans from Aldi, they are good. Not Bush's Best good. But they do the trick and they are cheaper.
Had a can with dinner last night and I thought they seemed like they weren't fully cooked....

I often talk about a place here that is owned by Kroger that is similar to Aldi in that it is a smaller store that you have to put a quarter in to get a cart.
I was headed for the door when a woman approached me and asked if I...
