I told myself I was going to clean the apartment (picking up things and putting/throwing them away) for an hour and a half, and set the microwave timer. I didn't make it to an hour and a half, but it was very close to an hour when...

I went out and watered the plants, poked a few holes in the bottom of the bucket one of the plants was in so it would drain, came in and vacuumed a bit, then started dividing the puzzle pieces into piles of 10. So far I'm only to...

I made a listing for the dolly on Facebook, and I may list her somewhere else tomorrow as well.
I am hoping she finds a good home.
I originally gave this doll to my Mom for her birthday, and while it's a little sad to be...

I finished my taxes, and the screen came up telling me I'd "smashed it"--getting done in two hours and some-odd minutes (I guess that's compared to last year). When I went to file, though, it said I needed something to do with my...

I went out for a walk after I posted my morning post, and noted the clouds and how dark they were. It wasn't long before I was being lightly rained on.
I kept going, though--and by the time I came home it had been about 25...

I think she took more than I even put in the collage, but my head's feeling kind of foggy, and I couldn't remember which photo I'd put in and which I hadn't, so...
The other lady I spoke to hasn't come, and that's okay--I have...

Friends,
Sometimes, can't be at your
Side at certain
Times; at least, not human ones.
There is a Friend who is
Always there, and promised
To never leave you,
Or forsake you; Jesus.

Multiple
Joys I have
Seen since
The day
That I
Acknowledged
That I needed a Savior.
Oh, Lord, many thanks for that day.

Majesty of God came
Down from Heaven
To take the
Form of
The creation, so
That He could know us
And understand
The many weaknesses of humankind.

Enjoyed coffee in the sunshine earlier this morning. Has been a gorgeous day. The doors are open. And the cats are enjoying the day as well.
Laundry is finally done for another day. Other projects finished as well.

I was calling to Bella Rose earlier, and she decided to look every-time I said that name, so I guess I’ll call her Bella too, she...

A few days ago she was caught almost stealing a piggy bank. I really thought people who used to work in the village office can be trusted, I was wrong.
Good thing Mom caught her, I guess the last maid wasn't so bad, they really...

Autumn joy sedum in Dustin's garden is almost at the final stage.
Have been watching it since spring. I actually saw a butterfly around it yesterday.
The burgundy color will be the final stage before it ends. Then the sedum...

Pretty soon, I want to shut down the computer and unplug everything so I can get it ready to take to Staples office supply and see if my old files got put on the new computer or not. Somehow I'm thinking not. I'll be taking the...

The honeysuckle in my backyard and fence is almost gone for the summer. But it will return in the spring.
A few more blooms left on the vine and then it will be gone. The hummingbirds were checking them out today.
Thankfully...

Sheesh -- time flies when you're "having fun."
I walked Angel, came home and pulled/cut a bucketful of weeds and such in the back and front yards.
When I came in I started a load of laundry--actually before that I washed the...

After getting off the computer this morning I realized I needed to call either the bus place or the post office, as I'd left my phone on/at either one of them.
So, I called the bus place, first, and after...

So far today, I've managed to walk Angel, practically fill the 12-gallon Rubbermaid can's worth of weeds and trimmings, pulled a 5-gallon bucket's worth of weeds in the front yard, snip off some blackberries, take some laundry out...
