In baking, do you use, glass, non-stick or regular metal baking pans?

I have a variety of all plus those new soft plastic ones that are now out. Sometimes a recipe tastes better in a certain pan. Dont ask me why, but some of my made from scatch cakes come out better in a glass dish than a metal one!...
