A while ago, all the fish in my aquarium got Ich and died. I got upset and threw the whole aquarium away. I didn't want to chance that any of the germs survived.
I contemplated getting a turtle or a hamster. My husband said no....

My supervisor at work has two Betta jars in our office. She takes good care of them, daily feedings and weekly cleaning of their jars. But she doen't use any water treatment. I have been wondering how important this is for Bettas....
