I don't care for spiders at all. Thankfully we rarely see any around here. But, even though, I know that most spider bites are harmless I still get chills just thinking about coming into close contact with one. It's all the legs I...

At least that is what I think.
It could have been a yellow jacket.
Whatever stung me was more than a wasp. I did not see the actual critter, but when I turned the board over I wanted to move, I saw one fly out.
I cannot decide...

Have you ever had cookie dough bites?
They are a candy that you typically see at the movie theater here in America. They are little cookie dough bits covered in chocolate. A little yummy treat of course.
So I saw them at the...

I'm asking in case it happens again. I was following one of my relatives into their friend's house. The woman I was introduced to was really nice, and kind of quirky. I liked her immediately, and I am sure everyone she meets feels...

I'm so fed up of them. Since yesterday they appear to be uncontrollable. Even the mosquito repellent seems to be ineffective.
I think these days the mosquitoes have turned immune to all these methods

I had just turned out the light last night when there came a weird screaming sound.
I got up to investigate and there was Onyx with something white in her teeth.
Something white and screaming I might add.
Turned out that the...

To a discussion that @poehere did yesterday regarding Pit Bulls and the fear that a lot of people have about them, I decided to put in my two cents. There are 45 million dog bites each year and do you know what the #1 dog is that...

They seem to be everywhere. It must have been the higher temperatures (although it's still wet and cloudy) that drove them out.
Bugs are the only thing that I hate about spring. And almost every spring I get a bug bite of some...

Lately I've been trying to get my parrot to step up onto my hand or at least let my hand close to him when he doesn't see that there's a treat involved. And for the most part it's great. He presses his beak to the back of my hand...

I've been trying to teach my pet to "Gimme paw" for a year now. She won't even respond when I call her name. Sometimes I think she is totally deaf. Snakes are so stupid.
Ouch! She just bit me again. That's what I get for letting...
