I saw an interesting piece on the almost lost art of bookbinding a few days ago. When I think of the most attractive bookbindings I have seen in the past they were usually in connection with family Bibles, Classic Literature, etc....

I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites that explain how to make your own bookbinding tools? I love binding books by hand, but can't afford to buy tools for bookbinding so have been making my own. The trouble is, I can't...

Currently I'm rediscovering how much I enjoy bookbinding. Sometimes I'm just adding leather covers to well loved books, other times I'm starting with the big sheets of paper and sewing the books from scratch then giving them...
