Is it allowed to break fasting on ramadan when you are sick?

im sick and im home with my small 13 month baby who also is sick. I have been fasting good so far, not on those days, but now im suddenly so ill. I hate that i have to breake fasting(eid is so close) but we dont have here enyone...

my best frnd stays in london, she fasts every month on sankashti. she alwys phns me to ask when is chandroday time.here in india we can see a newspaper or calendar to check whn moon is visible bt there she is facing prob coz there...
