A few years ago, I purchased an Olympus camera that was recommended by Consumer Reports as one of the best digital cameras. I heeded what that article said as, before I read that article, I had my mind set on a Sony Cybershot....

The $ stores can be fun to shop at - I like them not so much for the $1 price tag but because it is so easy to keep track of what you have spent. just count the number of items, apply tax rate and voila!
