Despite it being a bit overcast and windy today I just felt the need to get out of the house for five minutes so I gathered up my camera and went for a wander round the garden.

My dad was a terrific gardener and I was very close to him. When he and Mum moved to a smaller bungalow back in 1999, he gave me a small Victorian tin bath that he had restored and which he'd used as a planter for years. Sadly...

I found a link to a YouTube about Saffron Bulbs. I had no idea I could buy them like that. But it seems like a good project for me during the springtime of 2019.

I wrote a post this morning about the signs I've noticed that spring is here. Later on I was out and noticed our crocuses are popping up in the grass. Sometimes I don't notice them because they grow right up between the dead...

We have had a few really gorgeous days. The crocus are happy and blooming. It's a sight to behold. I used to only have purple crocus but a couple of years ago we planted some yellow and white crocus as well. The yellow might bloom...
