I have recently brought a sony video camera and was wanting to edit the videos I have taken and merge other videos together, to create a time line sort of. WHat is a good program to use to cut and paste a video?

I am not happy to find out the hard way you can not paste in here because I just spent an hour writing a new thread and then mylot would not let me post it. So I copy'd my own work and tried to reload the page and paste my own...
