Just wondering how many out there have this camera. I bought it a few months ago and the pictures are amazing. Any tips that others have learned would be helpful.

I am thinking of getting my girlfriend a new digital camera for xmas, and have picked the Nikon D40, anyone have any thoughts or comments on it?
