Daffodils do not grow where I live and I doubt if they grow anywhere else in India.
I have not seen daffodils although I have travelled to many countries but have to be satisfied by just looking at the photos.
I was introduced...

I noticed the buds over the weekend and have been waiting for more of them to bloom so that I could snag a photo for you!
I was worried and wondering if the daffodils would bloom after that 2nd arctic blast with temps back to 20...

Daffodils do not grow here but I have memories.
That poem by William Wordsworth - "I wandered lonely as a cloud" introduced me to this beautiful flower and got to see it in person while I was on a tour of Europe It took me back...

Made this collage from the daffodils in my backyard. They always bloom in February, no matter the weather. We have a few more weeks before spring arrives. But these blooms don't seem to care what day it is. They are in full bloom...

Spring is on its way. Today when I went outside I saw my first daffodil of spring. I know it’s a few weeks until March 21, nevertheless daffodils are the harbingers of spring, and at least two daffodils are in bloom. I saw a...

I got introduced to Daffodils when we had to study the poem 'Daffodils' by William Wordsworth. The teacher had her own imagination and explained about what inspired the poet to compose that poem and we as students also had to...

We'll be going from pre-spring temps to summer temps. Other than a day or two here and there of sixties or seventies most of our temps have been forties and more recently fifties. But, next week they are supposed to be in the...

I was reminded about these pretty flowers last week when Carol mentioned them in a post. I commented that there is a yellow flower that I keep seeing here in cow pastures and I have been calling them cow flowers.
Last week my...

Was out refreshing the bird bath earlier. Very windy and a few clouds coming in.
Rain expected tomorrow and Monday. Still a nice day today.
Will take a walk when the laundry is done shortly.
The daffodils are still in full...

Excited to see these bright cheery Daffodil blooms in my backyard.
They are being rained on today. But late yesterday I saw where they all opened around the poplar tree in back.
These are the first blooms for 2022. Spring will...

Was out walking in the yard just now. The Daffodils are budding and almost ready to bloom. They are the first to bloom here.
Soon there will be yellow blooms around my Tulip Poplar tree. That is when I know spring has arrived....

Not a nice sunny Sunday for us around here, it is raining cats and dogs and it is very windy too.
Fortunately, it is not too cold.
My forsythias and daffodils are all out showing their bright yellow color. Lovely to see them in...

Was out walking around in the yard. Had my phone with me, in case I needed a camera. Surprisingly I saw the daffodils full of buds in the backyard.
They are planted around one of the poplar trees. Soon there will be bright yellow...

I know it's early to be looking for signs of spring, but I'm a bit eager. It's been a long, long winter, so I've been scratching around to see what's poking it's head out. Today I snapped this photo of some of our daffodils...

My 4 big marigold plants have tiny buds already. And the small ones are out, already with their sets of leaves that say their name.
On a big pot, the daffodils that I bought last year (and did not flower) are coming out nicely. I...

I bought a packet of daffodil bulbs last autumn and they were supposed to be single flowered ones - some with yellow centres and some with orange. However, I think whoever packed the bulbs must have found an odd one as this...

Snapped this photo in my backyard. The yellow is a happy color.
