Is it true that ESPRIT will leave USA market?

Today I learned via the net and it said that ESPRIT will leave USA market. I am quite surprised to hear that. Are there some reasons that they have to leave USA market? Perhaps it is because of the bad economy?

I have got casio,esprit,fossil wit some other brands.i like casio the most but stimes i feel esprit more classy
