How often do you straighten your hair and what straightener do you use?

I like to straighten my hair once a week and then I don't wash it for a few days so it lasts longer. I love it after using my GHD straightener how soft it makes my hair feel, it also eliminates frizz. I paid about $250 for my GHD...

GHD's or alternative ceramic straightners?

Just wondered which are viewed as best. Mine are not branded and are needing replacing. Before I sped loads of money was just wondering if the GHD's are really worth the money.
